Trunk’s interview - eSuba.INTEL is going abroad!

22/04/2012 - Pospi  |   Recommend  |

We have here another interview with one of our players. This time it was Česká republika Michal "trunk" Břoušek who answered our questions regarding the oncoming LAN in Zagreb. eSuba.INTEL is going there to accomplish as good results as possible. Their opponents are going to be very strong – for example Anexis and Phantasmagoria. More information about the tournament is waiting for you inside this article.

Our Call of Duty section is going abroad again – this time to Zagreb, to compete in the Gamersject Bunny Challenge tournament. eSuba.INTEL is going to encounter real European star teams – for example   Fnatic and   Phantasmagoria. The tournament starts next week and you can be very well informed about the results thanks to our score service. This time we were talking with   Michal Břoušek alias trunk about past, current and of course the oncoming tournaments.

Hi Michal, it has been some time since we had the interview about your accomplishments and future plans. What is the situation in the team now?
Hi Frankie, our activity was not really high lately, mostly because SexAxaZ had troubles with hardware. The last match we had was at the beginning of this month. Considering the mood in our team, I dare say that it is great, probably the best since we got together. I think it is because we haven’t heard each other for some time now. I wonder how long it will stay this way.

Your latest accomplishment was the third place in ANEXIS Cup. Can you remember how you liked this tournament?
This tournament was really good till we got to semi-finals against Anexis. They have been getting back to the form lately and this match ended in their favour. Never the less, out team was very content with the third place.

Right now the team is in the elimination part of ROCCAT EUROPEAN CHALLENGE. It has been written in our article that this tournament is a little special, we can almost say chaotic. What do you think about it and when is the first play-off match?
I think that you can say that the tournament is chaotic. But it is the team’s problem that they are not able to keep track of the time and date of their next match. I believe that we can manage to have the first play-off match by Wednesday next week.

You mentioned next Wednesday. On Thursday you are going to be on Gamersject Bunny Challenge. Are you looking forward to this event?
I have been looking forward to this event since it was announced. Even though it doesn’t seem like it yet – only 8 teams are coming – we are going to see very interesting matches.

That’s right. Only 8 teams confirmed their participation so far but among them are Fnatic, ANEXIS and Phantasmagoria. What are your chances against competition like this?
There are going to be these great teams and lot of people believe that Anexis or Phantasmagoria are going to win, because they are in great shape for a long time even though Hungarians made some bad choices on BGEL 2. On the other hand there is always a chance that we can beat everyone and I am sure that we will be proud on the result we will bring home.

How is the preparation going? Do you train more often than usually?
As I said, sexy had some problems with his computer, so our preparation is not ideal, but we have  worked together long enough. Now we need only to adapt out tactics to be completely ready for Thursday.

How are you going to get there? Are you looking forward the journey?
As far as I know, Noodle is going to drive from Prague with Henyš, Valůšek and maybe also Vavrouch, who is not sure yet, where he is going to leave from. Lát and I are going to join them in Brno and after that we will head straight to Zagreb. I hope there will be nothing unpredictable on the way and we will get to Zagreb without any troubles.

What do you think about the team Fnatic? Do they have any real chance to win?
Personally I have no idea what to expect from them because I haven’t seen them play any official match in 4 months. They may of course lose every game but they have got very good players in their team and I believe that they will play well and fight for medals.

Would you like to see your team as medallists? Which post would you like to achieve?
To end up with a medal is definitely our aim. I wish for the first place, but I would be glad for any medal of course. I am certain that with a piece of luck it is possible. We will know much more next week with the score sheet of the whole event.

I wish you and your team-mates good luck. We will keep track of your progress of course. Good luck!
Thank you and all our fans who will keep their fingers crossed for us. Especially my core fans Lucky and Fox who won’t miss any single match. And of course thanks to the whole eSuba team who gives us resources so we can participate in Gject.
