CiC7: Our view

Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 has finally finished after a fantastic weekend of battling it out in this year’s biggest Call of Duty 4 LAN event. 46 teams split into 8 groups of 6 teams in each played their way through the tournament which only 16 teams made it through the group stages, including our COD4 team.

The top 2 teams in each group advanced to the single elimination brackets where they will be using the best-of-three format. Our first opponent in round 1 of the playoffs was the Danish side, Hostile Faction to our shock won the first map on mp_crash then took us to overtime on the second map, mp_strike to which they won 16-12 resulting in a 2-0 win for Hostile Faction taking them through to Round 2 of the playoffs and unfortunately leaving us behind to finish 9th - 16th.
